Matthew Chinedu (born 28 August 1998) is a Nigerian footballer who plays for Chittagong Abahani as a Forward or Midfielder. He joined the Bangladesh Premier League side in October 2019.
Club Career
Farashganj SC
Matthew signed with Bangladesh Premier League side Farashganj SC for 2017-18 Bangladesh Premier League. He scored six goals in that season. However, he couldn’t save Farashganj from relegation.
Arambagh KS
In 2018, Matthew signed an one-year contract with another Bangladesh Premier League side Arambagh KS. He scored seven goals including one hat-trick & made about ten assists. He was one of the top assist provider of that season.
Chittagong Abahani
In October 2019, Matthew joined Chittagong Abahani, another team from the same league, as his previous team Arambagh’s coach Maruful Haque also joined the team. He played 2019 Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup for Chittagong Abahani where he became highest scorer for his team scoring four goals.
