Her mother is a retired banker and a businesswoman and her father is a businessman. She began writing at the age of 7. She had her Primary education first at Fatima Private School, Jos and had to finish up at Police Children School, Owerri because her family was greatly affected by the Jos Crisis of 2001 which led to their relocation to Owerri. She later proceeded to Madonna Model Secondary School, Owerri for her secondary education. Just after her graduation from secondary school she lost her elder brother in 2009 turning her automatically into the first child of the family. This didn’t stop her from pursuing her education as she was determined to succeed. She later succeeded in getting enrolled at Abia State University, Uturu, where she studied English and Literature and graduated with a second class upper division in 2014. While in the university, she received several academic prizes and was the first in her department to be awarded “Best Creative Writer’s Award”in 2012. In order to assist her family and support herself through school, she had part-time jobs as a Procurement Officer, model, contractor, publisher, and writer. And in 2019 She was proceeded to study Masters in Parliamentary Administration at the University of Benin.
