After the announcement of Jose Mourinho departure after a series of poor run of form which left Manchester united without a manager, the 45 years old was installed in the hot seat as an interim manager till the end of the season.

The Norwegian who spent more than a decade at old Trafford as a player under Sir Alex Ferguson dream team that came from behind to beat Bayern Munich in the champions league final in 1999 where he (Solskjear) came on from the bench to score the winning goal.

Ole Gunner started his managerial career with Manchester United youth team before he was appointed as a manager with his home town club Molde in 2011, he spent 4 productive years before he  head to Cardiff City in Wales.

His stint with the bluebird was not something to write home about, he was unable to guide them from dropping to the English second tier , he was able to save his job until some poor result in the Championship saw him loss his job.

Spending 11 good years under Sir Alex Ferguson as a player is a very big factor for his development as a coach, when looking at other top manager like Pep Guardiola and Zinedine Zidane who went through the same root on their way to becoming a top manager means the Norwegian has a big future ahead of him.

Guardiola and Zidane spent their early managerial career at Barcelona and Real Madrid youth teams before taking over the club main team , everyone know how successful they were .

Appointing Jose Mourinho after such an underwhelming season was the biggest mistake the club has ever made made , he failed to control the club dressing room with series of bust out with   club players

Manchester United should follow the same path of other top European side like Barcelona and Real Madrid by appointing their ex player because the will have the full backing from the club supporters and they will have a very big understanding about the way and the the system on which the club operate which is playing more attacking football .

Scoring a lot of goals and even winning without playing so well is one of the club culture and that has started to show under the Norwegian boss
