  • Top five great players who won nothing in their playing days.No 2 and 4 are still playing

Football career is one of the lucrative careers in the world. While lots of talented and untalented  players boast about with laurels, there are some great players who won nothing throughout their days in the field. Most of these players are in their climax and there's seemly little hope of winning a medal at most a gold.

Here are five players on the unlucky list of those with zero medal in their Moseum.

    1. Johny Haynes
The Brazillian was described as the best passer by legend Pele. he featured for Fulham for eighteen years and notched a whooping 158 goals in 658 games. He became the first player to earn £100-a-week in English football. After retiring he signed a deal with South Africa outfit Durban City.He helped the club to win the Nationq football league. A title which degraded him beyond than upgraded his status.

    2. Leighton Baines

The story of premier league and three Lions  best defenders cannot be complete without Baines covering the front pages. Known for his deadly accuracy crosses and set pieces. He's the first defender to notch over 50 assist in the premier League. Top clubs came for his signature but he opted to stay loyal to his boyhood club.In 2009,he was in the losing side in an FA Cup final and collected runners-up  medal in the league and Championship with Wigan. At 33  there's still lingering hope to get a medal.
    3. Antonio Di Natale

Di Natale was one of the leading light of Seria A- twice top scorer, and player of the year in 2010. Unfortunately, he played for Udinese but never reached any cup final in his Club career. But was part of Italy team  which lost 4-0 to Spain in Euros 2012 final.

    4. Jamie Defoe

Almost joined a Chinese club but opted to remain in top flight with Bournemouth after agreeing a deal with the Cheeries. It looks like his lucrative career will end without a single trophies. The forward is one of premier league all time leading scorer but has only a community shield runners up medal. 2008, he left Spurs the week before they beat Chelsea in the League Cup final, and was then cup-tied as his new club.
